And now for that bit of CREATIVITY I mentioned…Customer “Mary” along with her custom stitch guide produced this darling Reindeer and then placed it in a tray with a fun fabric for a fabulous finish!!!!!!!

In the last post I was discussing how a little creativity can go a long way on your needlework…Robin took a piece of tramme with cute puppies but just your standard background and she selected a somewhat less traditional background color and added a fabulous, interesting border! I will get her to bring her fabric in and get a photo of the needlework and fabric together!
And now for a little imagination! Peter Rabbit…he is going on the chair bottom of a very special chair. Customer “Fredna” wanted something gender neutral so as to be appropriate for all the grandkids to come!! She also wanted something decorative but durable…textured. With a little imagination…imagine fabric behind it…a PLAID fabric. We selected the “Birthday Plaid” out of one of Julia Key Snyder’s books! WOW and to top it all off, the plaid was selected based on a special date and bible verse!! The date dictates the number of lines!

What a little creativity can do for a piece!! A customer “Robin” bought a piece of tramme a year or so ago…she got it out and came in the shop and selected an Elizabeth Bradley wool for the background and border that she selected from the FABULOUS book by Jane Zimmerman…Canvas Work Bands & Borders!!!
