Inspiration is all around us!! When you think about needlepoint – not only do you find yourself thinking about what canvas or design to stitch – but now you find yourself contemplating the patterns within the pattern!  Some areas of a design automatically lend themselves to certain stitches but sometimes we need a little help…a little inspiration!  Well I am here to tell you it is all around us! Not only are there numerous books to help us along but there are tons of visual aids!  These visual aids help with patterns, help decide on that special color!  Now I am sure everyone has heard all the buzz about Missoni…what a great inspiration for a bargello pattern!  (see photo below) Terry Dryden’s Zentangle Workshops are the perfect example of patterns and designs for inspiration!
